Congenital heart disease service for children

The Trust’s congenital heart disease (CHD) service for children is one of the largest centres in the UK. Our teams treat patients from all across the country, as well as international patients, and provides world-renowned care and innovative treatments.

At the Trust we care for congenital heart disease patients from before birth and through to adulthood, and support young people to make the transition from paediatric to adult services.

The Trust offers all types of treatment, including:

  • catheter lab investigation
  • specialised drug therapies
  • heart operations
  • heart rhythm procedures
  • transplantation.

We also run children's and fetal cardiology clinics across the South East.
