The clinical genetics and genomics laboratory is a joint venture between Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust and the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London. Haematology has acquired expertise in the investigation of haemostatic disorders in patients who have, or are, undergoing cardiac surgery. We have actively participated in programmes to reduce the use of transfused blood. Find out more.
