Travelling between hospital sites

As an international recruit, you will work and study across both hospital sites. During your down time, make sure to explore the exciting things that the surrounding areas have to offer:

Harefield Hospital

• Colne Valley regional park, an expansive area of parks, green spaces and reservoirs alongside the River Colne, and a short drive or bus ride from the hospital
• Rickmansworth Aquadrome, a local nature reserve featuring acres of woodland walks, lakes and open spaces. It's also a short drive from the hospital

Royal Brompton Hospital

• King’s Road, Chelsea, a bustling street famous for its shops, restaurants and galleries, and located only a stone's throw away from the hospital  
• Museums of South Kensington (including the Natural History Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, and Science Museum)
• Other nearby landmarks: Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace, and Hyde Park
