Professor Diana Bilton, honorary consultant and former director of the adult cystic fibrosis (CF) centre at Royal Brompton Hospital, was awarded a prestigious lifetime achievement award by the European Cystic Fibrosis Society at its annual conference in Basel, Switzerland.

Dr Richard Grocott-Mason has been appointed medical director of Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust with immediate effect. Dr Grocott-Mason was appointed acting medical director in December 2015.
