Hi! I’m Devika, a senior staff nurse in the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) at Harefield Hospital. 

I wanted to become a nurse from a young age and volunteered on a variety of projects to gain experience, although, at the same time, I had an interest in teaching. Nursing won!

I always knew I was going to become a nurse. I think it started when I received a nurse’s uniform and plastic stethoscope when I was a child. I wanted to help people.
