Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust recognises the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the delivery and management of clinical research. To ensure that we maintain the necessary regulatory compliance and ensure safety of patients in research we have made adjustments that factor the limited access to hospital space and the requirements of minimising the risks of spreading infection.
Consequently, we have produced two guidance documents to support researchers, hospital staff and external sponsors, in accordance with the Health Research Authority (HRA) and Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA) guidance.
