Sally Manning is a senior cardiology pharmacist with a specialist interest in arrhythmias.
Sally qualified as a pharmacist in 2006 and has worked at Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust since 2009. She provides a clinical pharmacy service to patients admitted to the acute cardiac care unit (ACCU).
Sally works closely with the arrhythmia team. In 2013 she qualified as a non-medical independent prescriber and introduced the first pharmacist-led arrhythmia clinic within the Trust. In this clinic she reviews patients with atrial fibrillation who are referred for optimisation and monitoring of their anti-arrhythmic medications. This has helped numerous patients to get the best out of their medicines. In addition, Sally also reviews patients in ablation and angioplasty pre-assessment clinics to ensure their medications are optimised in preparation for their admission to hospital.
Sally is available Wednesday to Friday (9am-5.30pm) to answer medication-related queries and can be contacted on 01895 823737 ext 5415, bleep 6175 or alternatively via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
