Biography

Dr Sylvia Krupickova is a paediatric cardiologist consultant at Royal Brompton Hospital. Her special interest is cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging, and she leads the hospital's paediatric cardiovascular magnetic resonance service.

Publications

Dr Krupickova has published more than 50 outcome and imaging studies, editorials and statement papers in internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals. She is a deputy editor for European Heart Journal Case reports. 

In 2024, Dr Krupickova was awarded with the MSc in Medical statistics from LSHTM University in London.

Teaching

Dr Krupickova is a co-organiser of the annual European Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Course in Congenital Heart Disease. She also leads the Pediatric Cardiology module as part of the MSc in Applied Paediatrics at Imperial College, London. She is also a faculty member for other courses at Imperial College including international morphology, cardiovascular magnetic resonance and echocardiography.

Dr Krupickova is a trustee of the Joshua Lynagh Foundation.
