Biography
Dr Kavita Dave is a consultant in respiratory and lung transplant medicine at Harefield Hospital, with a particular interest in supporting people with cystic fibrosis (CF) transition to lung transplant and CF care after lung transplantation.
Dr Dave graduated from the Imperial College School of Medicine in 2010, and completed her respiratory training in North West London, spending 2 years at Royal Brompton and Harefield. Before completing her training, she spent a year with the adult cystic fibrosis unit at Royal Brompton Hospital, reviewing and improving local and national pathways for people with cystic fibrosis needing lung transplantation.
Before her role as a consultant, Dr Dave held positions with the British Thoracic Society (BTS) Council and the BTS Workforce and Service Development Committee.

Teaching
Dr Dave is an educational supervisor for trainee doctors in internal medicine and respiratory medicine. She also examines for medical student exams, teaches on a number of respiratory-focused courses and sits on interview panels for the national selection of medical and respiratory trainees.
