Severe left ventricular inlet and outflow obstruction from rhabdomyoma in a neonate: a challenging circulation

Abstract

Primary cardiac tumours are a very rare entity in the paediatric population. More than 50% are diagnosed under the age of one year and some are diagnosed in the antenatal period. The majority of tumours are benign with rhabdomyomas (45%) and fibromas (30%) as the most common ones.
