Get involved

Would you like to become a patient-carer member of our patient and public reference group or delivery boards?

We are looking for heart and lung patients (adults and young people) and carers to join our committees to make sure the views of patients and the public remain at the centre our partnership’s proposals.

The partnership is committed to involving patients, their families and carers in its work. In January, the partnership established a patient and public reference group, which includes adult and young patients, as well as representatives from national and local charities with an interest in heart and lung care.

We are now looking for a number of heart and lung patients and carers to join the committees listed below. If you would like to become a patient or carer member of any of our committees, please complete and return our lay members' expression of interest form and return it to gst-tr.rbhkhp@nhs.net.

For more information about these roles, please read the role descriptions for each committee:

Please note, these are voluntary (unpaid) roles. Travel and other reasonable expenses will be paid in accordance with our policy.
