What is the effect of tight glycaemic control on the homeostatic balance of key immunological and metabolic mediators following cardiac bypass surgery in children with congenital heart disease. Secondary Research Objectives: What is the effect of tight glycaemic control on changes in inflammatory and endocrine signaling pathways following surgery for congenital heart disease.
