Placing Patients at the Centre of our Research
Research is a core part of the Trust’s mission and we are committed to promoting and conducting quality research that is of benefit to our patients and across the NHS. In line with the National Institute for Health Research’s strategy, Best Research for Best Health 2006-2014, we aim to place our patients, volunteers and the public at the centre of our research activity so that they will benefit from and increase their understanding of their illnesses, the trial processes, research outcomes and future research.
Information about current research activities
Updates and outputs from research studies are regularly featured in our publications to improve patient and public understanding of the benefits of our research to patients. Further information about current research activities within the Trust can be located within the our researchers section.
