Grant applications
The CTEU can provide advice to the Trust and Imperial College London on grant applications to charitable organisations (e.g. British Heart Foundation), government bodies (e.g. Medical Research Council, National Institute for Health Research) and industry. The CTEU has attracted over £3 million for research in the form of peer-reviewed grants and industry collaborations.
Protocol design
The CTEU can offer advice to individual clinicians, scientists and other health professionals on protocol design and development.
Study co-ordination
The CTEU can provide comprehensive study co-ordination and management including ethical and regulatory applications, site training, monitoring and management as well as pharmacovigilance and close-out and archiving.
Statistics, data management and randomisation
The CTEU can provide advice on statistical and data management issues (case report forms, database design and data handling) to those working within Trust and Imperial College London. In addition, it is able to provide a randomisation service including interactive voice recognition system, telephone, web-based and envelope methods.
