The CTEU plays an active role in the research programme of the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust and the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. It offers advice and support on study design, statistical issues, study co-ordination and data management to many research teams within the Trust and the Institute as well as external academic groups.
The CTEU also works with a large collaborative group of UK and international investigators. It has a contact network of 350 hospitals in 25 countries including 60 hospitals in the UK. Established academic links include collaboration with the following research units:
