• Café Scientifique: "Heart surgery ... Exostent, the story of the aortic jacket"

  Café Scientifique is an opportunity for patients, the public and our researchers to discuss and debate heart research. Join Tal Golesworthy, engineer and Marfan syndrome patient, and Professor John Pepper, heart surgeon, to discuss the external aortic root support - winner of the medical and healthcare prize at the 2011 Technology and Innovation awards. Joint events between the Cardiovascular and Respiratory BRU

• 'FindOutMore': a joint heart and lung BRU interactive exhibit held at Royal Brompton Hospital to promote our public involvement work and raise awareness of our research. Patients and children visiting the hospital took part in our activities, including building a DNA molecule and our fun and informative quiz – 15 December 2010
