Private patients visit us
from all over the world confident that they will receive first class, round-the-clock care and treatment. Care is provided in comfortable surroundings in private wings within the main hospital buildings, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, whatever the circumstances.
The private patients centre has its own dedicated high dependency units which are equipped to intensive care standards, where some patients may spend time following surgery or other complex procedures.
The units have sophisticated monitoring facilities and high nursing ratios to ensure careful monitoring of our patients.
As you would expect of an internationally recognised hospital, we ensure that all patients’ cultural and religious needs are respected during their stay with us.
Visiting
At both hospitals our private patient administration team can arrange accommodation within the hospital or provide information about a number of local hotels within a varied price range.
Visitors to Harefield Hospital’s private patient centre have the benefit of facilities at Parkwood House, a small, friendly, hotel-style house within the hospital grounds offering single or double rooms at very reasonable rates.
Visiting hours for both adults and children are flexible; we only ask that visitors liaise with the appropriate nursing staff about the best times to visit.
