The Samaritans

The Samaritans provide 24-hour confidential emotional support over the phone and in person at local centres during the day.

The Compassionate Friends

Support and friendship for bereaved parents and their families by those similarly bereaved at any age from any cause.  Their phone line is open all year from 10 am to 4 pm and 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Child Death Helpline

A helpline for all, including children, affected by the death of a child.  It is run by parents who have experienced a loss themselves.  Phone line is open every evening 7 pm to10 pm, Monday to Friday mornings 10 am to1 pm and Wednesday afternoons 1 pm to 4 pm.
