The clinical psychology team work with people with asthma to help manage many of the normal psychological difficulties that can be associated with living with a long-term respiratory condition.

The team offers a range of psychological treatments, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, that aim to improve the self-management of asthma, as well as help with common problems such as adjustment difficulties in relation health problems and treatment, anxiety and stress management, and coping with low mood and depression.
