MSc in cardiorespiratory nursing
(24 months part-time)
This is a well-established and popular Masters degree programme aimed at current and potential nurse leaders in the field of cardiorespiratory nursing.
The taught content intends to establish and build knowledge of clinical practice and to provide students with the potential to develop a career in nursing.
The MSc includes a module in lung failure with
practical application, which will help to develop
practitioners with a broad understanding of lung failure. It will also increase
their understanding of the causes of lung failure, differentiating between
acute failure causing and complicating critical illness, and acute-on-chronic
lung failure. This module was established in collaboration with the NHLI respiratory BRU.
Next course starts January 2013.
