Introductory facilitators team training course (STeLI funded)

Accredited by Royal Colleges for 18 CPD points

Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust's award-winning simulated paediatric resuscitation team Training (SPRinT) team is offering a three-day introductory facilitators team training course.

 

This three-day simulation facilitator course assumes some educational background. For example, knowledge about the principles of adult learning and learning cycles.


It is designed for all healthcare professionals with an interest in simulation, and how simulation can be used in the healthcare arena to enrich learning, enhance individual and team performance and improve patient safety.


This course aims to empower all participants, as educators and healthcare leaders, to embed simulation as a powerful learning tool into their trust.

 

Some pre-course preparation will be required.


Only 20 places available

Dates: 7-9 March 2012

Venue: Clinical Skills & Simulation Centre

Location: Royal Brompton Hospital, South Parade SW3 6LL

Cost: Free to all NHS London professionals

Advanced facilitators team training course

Accredited by Royal Colleges for 30 CPD points

This is an advanced facilitator course designed for consultants, senior registrars, senior nurses and those interested in running an embedded simulation programme.


It assumes prior knowledge about the principles of adult learning, learning cycles and how simulation complements multi-disciplinary team performance.

Five days from 10.30am to 5pm, February to May 2012.
