Dr Evangelos Skondras

Biography

Dr Evangelos Skondras studied medicine at the University of Patras, Greece. He completed his training in radiology in 2012 at the University Hospital of Patras. 

In 2013, he moved to the UK for cardiothoracic imaging training at Harefield Hospital.   

In 2016, he became a consultant cardiothoracic radiologist at Harefield Hospital.

Clinical expertise

Dr Skondras' clinical expertise includes:

• lung imaging including transplant
• thoracic interventions including biopsy and cancer ablations
• cardiac computed tomography (CT) imaging. 

Research interests

Dr Skondras' research interests include:

• cardiac CT imaging
• lung imaging and interventions
• lung transplant imaging.

Publications

Dr Skondras has contributed book chapters on thoracic imaging and intervention.
