Patients, parents and staff spoke to BBC medical correspondent Fergus Walsh, in a programme broadcast on Monday 31 October, about the paediatric cardiac review and the likely effects on specialist respiratory services for children.
Presenter Matthew Wright introduced the piece, describing Royal Brompton’s “reputation as a world class centre for heart and lung treatment, but an ongoing review of children’s heart services across the country could see some of Royal Brompton’s specialist units close down altogether.”
