We have received many encouraging letters supporting the work of our children’s cardiac surgery teams and we want to make sure as many people as possible are aware of the situation.

Many of our supporters have already written to their MPs and some have received very encouraging responses. But a number of MPs are still unaware of the gravity of the potential closure of our unit and the knock-on effects it will have.

Below are two sample letters to help you approach your MP. The first is useful if you haven't previously written to your MP, and the second if you have.
